Trojans Clinch EUPC Crown

The Cedarville Trojans clinched the Eastern Upper Peninsula Conference with its decisive 50- point win over the DeTour Raiders Friday, February 9.

Eleven players scored for the Trojans, ranked number one in the state Class D and Upper Peninsula poll are 7-0 in the EUPC and 15-0 overall in their 76-26 win. Cedarville has one league game remaining on their schedule, at Pickford Tuesday, February 13, and close out the regular season with four nonconference games.

Cedarville's offense and defense was in high gear with a 20-2 lead after the first eight minutes. They increased their lead to 45-6 at halftime with a 25-4 advantage in the second quarter.

The Trojans held a 14-13 scoring edge in the third quarter, closing out the game with a 17-7 score in the final period.

Raiders Win JV Contest

Joshua Wilson scored 29 points to lead DeTour to a 57-46 win over Cedarville in the junior varsity game. Taylor Smith scored 22 points and Andrew Jaroche added 15 points for the Trojans.
