Black Bears Hoops Win over Grand Marais, VB Falls

Maplewood Baptist Academy defeated Grand Marais during a non-conference boys basketball game while the volleyball squad fell Monday, January 29.

Caleb Rader scored 28 points and Jason King added 17 to lead the Black Bears in the hoops win over the Polar Bears.

Maplewood's Colleen Bailey and Cherith Plesscher both recorded seven aces, and Becky Rader notched 10 kills and four blocks, on the volleyball hardwood.
