Spring Home and Garden Show Will Bring 60 Vendors to Arena

Little Bear East Arena in St. Ignace will be the site for approximately 60 vendors offering home improvement information at the annual Home and Garden Show Friday, April 20, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday, April 21, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

New to the show this year will be several live demonstrations of skills, including making a container garden, which will take place on both days of the show, said organizer Michelle Walk.

Hot tubs, custom stone products, lawn and garden care, and gutter systems will be among the many products showcased at the event. Pizza concessions and prize drawings will be offered at the site.

Admission to the show is $2 per person; children age 8 and younger will be admitted free.

The show is sponsored by Housing Opportunities Made Equal (HOME) of Mackinac County, St. Ignace Downtown Development Authority, and First National Bank.

Proceeds of the show will benefit affordable housing projects in the county.
