Children's Super Saturday Fair Planned for May 5 at St. Ignace

A day of fun for children and families will be Saturday, May 5, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Little Bear East Arena and Community Center in St. Ignace.

The annual event, called Super Saturday, will include games, horse-drawn wagon rides, and a bike rodeo. Information will be provided regarding child safety, speech and hearing development, pet care, and gardening. Tables will be set up for children to make friendship bracelets and other jewelry. Crafts and balloons will be available, and there will be 4-H exhibits, door prizes, book giveaways, and food.

The event is sponsored by Michigan State University Extension's 4-H Youth Program, 4-H Council, the Great Start Program of the Eastern Upper Peninsula Intermediate School District, civic organizations, and local businesses.
