LaSalle To Host Two Concerts

The LaSalle High School music department will host two concerts, featuring the Alma College Percussion Ensemble Friday, April 27, and St. Ignace Area Schools bands Monday, April 30.

The Alma College Percussion Ensemble will play April 27 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., introduced by the St. Ignace steel bands and percussion groups. The concert will be presented in the LaSalle gymnasium as a fundraiser for St. Ignace students who plan to attend Alma percussion camps this summer. Admission cost is $2 per student, $4 per adult, and $10 per family.

The St. Ignace music department will combine its student awards presentations with its spring concert April 30 at 6 p.m. in the LaSalle gymnasium. Admission to the performance costs $1 per student, $2 per adult, or $5 per family and proceeds benefit school music programs.
