St. Ignace Youth Bowlers Receive Medals, Plaques

Top, Youth bowlers who received medals for their efforts this season included Kelsey Will, AmberTillman, Morgan LaVake, Jacob Tillman, Isabelle Singleton, Morgan Ray, Haley Dodds, Erin Bunker, Whitney Matson, Sharman Colegrove, Joe Krause, Bill Bentgen, Jason Brown, Autumn Huskey, and Kayla Ray.
St. Ignace youth and teen bowlers received individual and team honors during the awards ceremony at Gateway Lanes Saturday, April 21.

Youth Team Bowling

Little Miners finished first with 103 points, led by Jacob Tillman with 148 high game and 264 for two-game series, followed by Kelsey Will with scores of 147 and 275, Isabelle Singleton with 135 and 225, and Morgan LaVake, scoring 119 and 221.

The Angels placed second after totaling 89 points, with Sharman Colegrove scoring a 148 and 265, Haley Dodds scoring 92 and 149, Erin Bunker, 85 and 144, Whitney Matson, 91 and 135, and Morgan Ray scoring 112 and 199.

Git-R-Done took third with 65 points. The team was led by Autumn Huskey with 177 and 265 scores, Bill Bentgen at 159 and 262, Joe Krause at 144 and 255, and Kayla Ray at 126 and 199.

Super Saints, which finished fourth with 64 points, was led by Joe Snowaert with scores of 150 and 289, Brandon West with 130 and 236, Cole Garen with 128 and 232, and David LaVake, who scored 93 and 165.

Never Too Late took fifth with 60 points. Dalton Carviou led the team with scores of 153 and 251, followed by Nikolas Moran at 117 and 206, Margo Brown at 101 and 181, and Lucas Gustafson, who scored 110 and 160.

The Lions placed sixth with 53 points. Jake Dodds led his team in scoring with 131 and 227. Other players on the team are Austin Marshall, Adam Mullins, Lukas Riordan, and Dylan Marshall.

Top Guns, which took seventh with 50 points, was led by John Ellis, with scores of 133 and 249, Kasey Bunker at 129 and 239, Daniel Postma at 99 and 190, and Brad Gustafson, who scored 92 and 161.

The Demons finished eighth with 40 points and were led by Joel Dodds with 102 and 182. Other members of the team are Saul Maldonado, Jeremy Boynton, Gabriel Boynton, and Jeremiah Anderson.

Teen Bowlers

Chris Binger recorded a game high of 277 and series-high score of 691. He was followed by Jamin Corwin with a 245 and 667 score, Chris Moran at 137 and 346, Michelle DeKeyser at 143 and 316, and Nick Grogan, who scored 127 and 317.
