Ian Hughey To Serve in Afghanistan
      Ian Hughey, a 2003 LaSalle High School graduate, has deployed with the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing of the U.S. Air Force. He will travel to Bagram, Afghanistan, and serve as crew chief on an A-10 Thunderbolt, a twin-engine jet aircraft designed for close air support of ground forces.

      Kaylee Brown Lora Bellant and Josh Brown of Garnet announce the birth of a daughter, Kaylee Ranelle Brown. She was born at 3:59 p.m. January 22, 2007, at Desoto Baptist Memorial Hospital of Southaven, Mississippi. She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces at birth and measured 19.75 inches in length.
