Rexton-Garnet
By Linda Livermore 595-7283

The spring activities have stepped up a notch. Track at the school is in full swing, the Adopt a Highway clean-up has completed its first outing for 2007, fourwheelers are having a field day getting through the back roads, and a few campers are parked at the local streams awaiting the arrival of the smelt.

The monthly Hudson Township board meeting will be Thursday, May 3, at 7 p.m. at the town hall. All township residents are invited to attend.

Gathered around the dinner table Sunday, April 29, at the Livermore household were our son, Scott, and our daughter, Sheila and family, as two birthdays were celebrated, Sheila's and Dave's.

The Mother and Daughter Tea will be Wednesday, May 9, at 7 p.m. at the Hiawatha Sportsman's Club activities building, sponsored by the Rexton and Naubinway Mennonite Churches.

The theme this year is "Memories from the Attic," and you're invited to bring along an item from your own attic of memories and take a few minutes to share them if you like. Make reservations with Kathy Miller by Wednesday, May 2.

Happy birthday to my husband, Dave Livermore, along with Ron Hins, Butch Formolo, and Elmer Price, who celebrated April 30, Mary Fuller May 2, and Deb Bullock May 3.

Anniversary wishes to Vern and Ruth Johnson, who celebrated May 1, and Bud and Mary Hart, who will celebrate May 6.

The morels are probably starting to pop, so make plans for that mouth-watering dish that they accompany so well.
