Circuit Court

The following dispositions are from 11th Circuit Court in St. Ignace April 20, Judge Charles Stark presiding.

+ Tony Massey, 49, of Cheboygan, pleaded guilty to criminal sexual conduct (fourth degree). He was placed on one year delay of sentence with the charge being reduced to aggravated assault upon successful completion of supervision. He must pay $1,430 in fines and costs.

+ Richard Osmon, 47, of St. Ignace, pleaded guilty to controlled substance (narcotic/ cocaine) less than 25 grams. He must pay fines and costs and was placed on one year delay of sentence; if terms are successfully completed, the charge will be reduced to controlled substance, use of morphine, a one-year misdemeanor.

+ Patricia Paquin, 47, of St. Ignace, pleaded guilty to one count of embezzlement, $1,000 to $20,000. Sentence shall be delayed for one year subject to conditions imposed by the court. If conditions are successfully met, conviction shall be entered for misdemeanor embezzlement, $200 to $1,000. She must pay $1,130 in fines and costs and $8,835.28 in restitution.

+ Kenneth Laverty Jr., 22, of Newberry, pleaded guilty to criminal sexual conduct (fourth degree). He was sentenced to a term of 12 months incarceration in the Mackinac County Jail with credit for 163 days served, $120 in fines and costs, and registration as required by the Michigan Sex Offenders Registration Act.
