Burns Planned at Seney Refuge

Seney National Wildlife Refuge will conduct a series of prescribed burns this spring to enhance habitat for wildlife including marshland song birds, black bears, and sharptail grouse. The burns will also reduce fuel loading to lessen the severity of potential wildfires in the area. Questions or comments about the plan may be directed to Gary Lindsay at (906) 586-9851, extension 19.
