Steve and Dionne Mesnard Are New Owners of St. Ignace Restaurant

The St. Ignace Big Boy Restaurant on US-2 is now under the ownership of Steve and Dionne Mesnard of Petoskey, who took over Wednesday, April 25, fulfilling their dream of owning their own restaurant.

Mr. Mesnard is originally from Sault Ste. Marie. Mrs. Mesnard is from Detroit. The couple both worked for Big Boy International in Warren, the parent company for local Big Boy franchises.

In his former position, Mr. Mesnard worked with franchise owners throughout northern Lower Michigan and the Upper Peninsula, ensuring that they followed the parent company's procedures, and helping them maximize profits.

The couple purchased the restaurant from Robert and David Goldthorpe.
