Frank Thomas Warner of Goetzville, known as "Tom" to family and friends, was a former heavy equipment operator in the Operators Union, working 31 years for Flint Road Builders and Genoak Construction in the Flint area.
Mr. Warner was 57 when he died Saturday, April 28, 2007, at his home.
He was born May 2, 1949, in Flint, to Hugh Bernard and Gertrude May (nee White) Warner. Most of his life was spent in the Flint area, where he was graduated from Davison High School.
He married Marilyn Jeane Brookins on October 18, 1969, in Davison, and they lived in Millington for many years. In 2003 he moved to his home in Goetzville.
Mr. Warner loved to fish, and he fished in the summer and winter, and on every vacation. One of his favorite vacations was a threemonth Alaskan fishing trip he took with his wife in 2004. Family members recalled that every time the Warners visited their daughter in Florida, Mr. Warner went shrimping. He also enjoyed deer hunting and many other outdoor activities.
Mr. Warner is survived by his wife, Marilyn; one daughter and her family, Tracey Lynn and Ernest Lamar of Jacksonville, Florida; one son and his family, Thomas John and Judy Warner of Millington; three grandchildren, Jenna Michelle Warner, Tyler Joseph Warner, and Ryan Lee Detgen; his sister, Joyce Barber of Bradenton, Florida; a brother and his family, Robert and Hope Warner of Lake George, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Warner was preceded in death by his parents; and by two brothers, Hugh Warner and Charles Warner.
Services will be private.
Reamer Galer Funeral Home of Pickford assisted the family with arrangements.
