LaSalle High School Will Host 22nd St. Ignace Kiwanis

Track Invite May 4

LaSalle High School will host the 22nd Annual St. Ignace Kiwanis Track and Field Invitational Friday, May 4, with field events and the 3200-meter run beginning at 3:45 p.m.

Medals will be awarded to the top six places in each event and team plaques to the championship and runner-up schools.

Will Host Golf Tourney

St. Ignace football program will host its 11th annual Two- Person Scramble Golf Tournament Saturday, May 12, at the Mackinaw Club in Mackinaw City, with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.

Cost to participate is $90 per team and the contest is limited to 50 teams.

CCSS Offers Adult Golf Lessons at Munoscong Golf

Club Starting May 14

Adult golf lessons will be offered by the Consolidated Community Schools Services (CCSS) of Rudyard at Munoscong Golf Club starting Monday, May 14.

Classes will meet from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each Monday with Roy Hamilton as the instructor.

The eight-week course is $60 per person. Golf clubs can be provided. Registration is required and space is limited.

Senior Golf League Will Start

at St. Ignace Golf Course

Golfers age 50 and older are invited to take part in a Senior Golf League that will play every Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. at the St. Ignace Golf Course. The group's first meeting will be Tuesday, May 8.
