      A daughter, Abigale Rose Brown, was born to Michelle and Tony Brown of Harrison March 2, 2007. Born at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Midland, she weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces, and measured 19 inches in length. She joins a brother, Anthony Jacob, 4, at home.

      Wyatt Orm, 12, of St. Ignace, bagged his first turkey while hunting with his father near Atlanta, Michigan Monday, April 23. He used a new shotgun he received for his birthday. The turkey weighed 17 pounds and had a nine-inch beard.
