Pickford, DeTour Schools Announce Spring Concerts Scheduled in May

The Pickford High School and Middle School bands annual Spring Concert will be Wednesday, May 9, at 7 p.m. in the Pickford schools gymnasium. Students must be in the music room at 6 p.m.

The Fifth Grade Band, Sixth Grade Band, and Junior/Senior Concert Band will perform. There is an admission charge of $2.

The Pickford Elementary School Spring Concert will be Thursday, May 10, at 7 p.m. at the gymnasium. The program will have a patriotic theme. There will be no charge for the concert.

DeTour DeTour Area Schools will offer four concerts this spring.

The DeTour Middle School Band will perform Wednesday, May 16, at 6:40 p.m. at the DeTour Performance Center, at the school in DeTour Village.

Students should be on stage, with their instruments by 6:25 p.m. Drummond Island students should take the 6:10 p.m. ferry from the island.

The DeTour High School Band will perform afterwards at 7:40 p.m., and they need to be on stage by 7:20 p.m. Drummond Island students should take the 7:10 ferry from the island.

The Drummond Island kindergarten through sixth grade spring music program will be Wednesday, May 23, at the Drummond Island School. The program will feature the kindergarten through sixth grade music classes, and the fifth and sixth grade band class.

The DeTour Elementary spring music program, featuring the kindergarten through fifth grade music classes and fourth and fifth grade elementary band class, will be Tuesday, May 29, at DeTour Area Schools.
