Library To Host Author Glen Hanket, Free Movie Night

Glen Hanket, an author and adventurer, will speak about the country, environment, and pursuing personal dreams at 7 p.m. at the St. Ignace Public Library Thursday, May 10.

Mr. Hanket's presentation focuses on the four "I's" of learning, which are imagination, inspiration, and implement, and impact. He has toured the United States on a bicycle, and will tell tales from his trip. His stop in St. Ignace will be part of a two-week trek from Detroit to Chicago, through the Upper Peninsula and Wisconsin.

"Flushed Away," an animated children's movie, will be shown at the St. Ignace Public Library at 6:15 p.m. Thursday, May 17.

Admission is free. Popcorn and beverages will be provided.
