Breakfast with the Birds To Be May 12

Breakfast with the Birds will be offered Saturday, May 12, at the Nature Conservancy's Gerstacker Preserve east of Cedarville. The tour will begin at 7 a.m.

The event will be led by Dr. Mic Hamas of Central Michigan University and Nadine Cain of Cedarville, and will include a tour of the preserve while participants spot migrating warblers and other species. The Les Cheneaux Islands area is the spring and summer home of dozens of migrating warblers that thrive on insects along the shoreline and points of land.

A free breakfast will be provided at DeTour Roadside Park.
