Laura Schaedig Throws Javelin for Hope College Laura Schaedig, alumnus of C e d a r v i l l e High School and a junior at Hope College, finished sixth in the javelin event, after being seeded 22, with a pers o n a l - b e s t throw of 119 feet during the Hillsdale Relays Saturday, April 28.
The University of Michigan, Notre Dame, Michigan State University, and teams from the Division III Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association also competed in the meet.
LSSU Foursome Improves
Record in 400-meter Relay
Paul Davis of St. Ignace, along with teammates Jordan Baker, Daryl Byrge, and Travis Baril, improved on their school record in the 400-meter relay with a time of 42.93 seconds during the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships at Northwood University Friday, May 4. The previous record was 43.90.
Munoscong Golf Club To
Host 22nd Annual
Three-Women Tourney
Munoscong Golf Club will host the 22nd annual Three-Women Scramble Tournament Monday June 18.
The event will tee-off at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start. The cost of the tourney is $135 per team, not including cart costs. There is a limit of 40 teams.
