Rexton-Garnet
By Linda Livermore 595-7283

When it's spring, I really would like blue skies, warm temperatures, and light breezes. Wouldn't we all!

Someone destroyed the men's bathroom at Garnet Lake Park. If you know who did this, please contact Township Supervisor Al Garavaglia.

The annual cleanup day for Hudson Township went well, and our tiny towns are looking neater owing to all the efforts.

Young Jeff Dishaw of Epoufette averted tragedy following an ORV accident last week and was able to smile in church last Sunday.

Dianne Reinhold put on her traveling shoes again and has left for her grandson's high school graduation at Nome, Alaska.

Our youngest son, Andy, enjoyed the weekend at home, and along with my mom, Nona Fraleigh, spent Mother's Day at my house with other family members. A phone call from my service-connected son, Dave, made my day complete.

Birthday wishes to Mary Lou Hanson, down Black River way, May 16, Lynzee Bigelow of Epoufette May 18, our niece, Tristina Browning, Bob Hanson, and Jason Ott, all celebrating May 19, and Kacie Rutledge, and our longtime friends and neighbors, John Hood and Pat Derusha, May 20.

Anniversary wishes to Jerry and Carolyn Reynolds, celebrating May 17.

Condolences to Bill and Debbie Carlson on the tragic loss of their son-in-law, Will Sabalu, in Afghanistan. His wife, Amy, resides at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Debbie is the daughter of Lee Kerridge of Garnet.

Continued get well wishes to Tim Darknell, who is recovering from back surgery.
