These votes were certified by Chippewa County Clerk Diane S. Cork Monday, May 15. Sixty-two votes from Brevort Township and Portage Township were not counted because they were not submitted in time. Brevort Township voters, all but three in the St. Ignace district, voted 19-41 against the millage. Three votes were cast in the Rudyard district. Portage Township voters in the Engadine district voted 0-2 against the millage. The votes would not have changed the outcome.
