Master Plan for County Adopted Mackinac County commissioners adopted a resolution supporting the county's master plan during their meeting Thursday, May 10. The county's Planning Commission had approved the plan following a public hearing April 25. The plan will guide future development. It presents the county's view of its natural resources, infrastructure, character, and sense of community. Assisting the Planning Commission and the local Michigan State University Extension office in developing the plan was Wade Trim of Gaylord. The company was paid $29,900 for its work on the project. |
