Bar Employee Robbed at Gunpoint in Hessel Tuesday

Michigan State Police are investigating a reported armed robbery at the Runway Bar in Hessel early Tuesday morning, May 15.

Police report that at approximately 2:40 that morning, a lone gunman wearing a stocking mask approached an employee as she was leaving the bar after closing. The gunman was armed with what appeared to be a small, semi-automatic pistol, and took the employee's purse. The employee was not injured in the incident.
