St. Ignace Mayor Paul Grondin has been researching city archives to compile a list of St. Ignace mayors since the community established itself as a city in 1883. Brooks B. Hazelton was the last to serve as St. Ignace village president in 1882. Mayor Grondin has also created a list of city managers and city clerks who have served St. Ignace since the city became a city manager-led form of government in 1970. His next task is creating a list of council members and city attorneys who have served.
