'Connections' Exhibit Will Remain at Alberta House in Sault Through May

"Connections," a multiple media exhibition by Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, artists William Slingsby and Patricia Baker, will be at the Alberta House Arts Center in Sault Ste. Marie through the end of May. A Northwood Heritage exhibit of paintings and a quilt by Jeanne Mannesto will be displayed in the Alberta House Mini-Gallery through the month.

Mr. Slingsby is an award-winning photographer and author who has exhibited in previous Alberta House shows and in Ontario.

Ms. Baker is an award-winning artist, designer, and writer. She is the district correspondent for the Algoma area's Sault Star. She has exhibited in Sault Ste. Marie and Ontario shows, and in previous Alberta House shows.

Ms. Mannesto's strong interest in the natural world has guided her artistic endeavors. She has written about wolves in Minnesota and on Isle Royale, and has hiked and camped in the northwoods for many years. Ms. Mannesto will demonstrate at the Alberta House Tuesday, May 29, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Alberta House will be open Tuesday through Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
