Trojans Boys Team, Pickford Girls Win Meet at Cedarville

The Cedarville Trojans boys track team and the Pickford Panthers girls team won the sixteam meet at Robert W. Smith Track Monday, May 7.
Boys Results:
The Trojans tallied 150.3 points to post the win, followed by Pickford with 136.3 points, Engadine with 104.3, Brimley with 62, and DeTour and Mackinac Island with 23.
Cedarville: Jordan Sweeneyfirst in the 800- (2:13.03), second in the 1600-meter dash; Cody Thompson- first in the high jump (5'6"), fourth in the low hurdles, fifth in the 400; C.J. Paquin- first in the long jump (18'1.5"), fifth in the 200, sixth in the 100; Kevin Thompson- first in the pole vault (10'0"); Justin Baker- second in the high and low hurdles; Clayton Meyers- second in the 800; Jimmy Eberts- third in the high and low hurdles; Sheldon Tassier- third in the 1600 and 3200; Jordan Hufffifth in the discus.
The Trojans' 3200-meter relay finished first in the (9:05.45), first inthe 800 relay (1:42.10), first in the 1600-meter relay (3:51.55), and second in the 400-meter relay.
Pickford: Richard Gibson- first in the 1600-meter run (5:00.15); Scott Coullard-second in the 400 and 200, fourth in the 100; Cody Stevenson- second in the high jump, sixth in the 800 and long jump; Tony Stefanski- third in the 800, fourth in the pole vault, fifth in the 100; Mickael Cantin- third in the shot put; Joe Jenkins- third in the discus; Tony Hascall- third in the pole vault, fifth in the low hurdles; Pat Savoie- fourth in the 400; Dylan Rye- fourth in the high jump; Jordan Potter- fourth in the shot put; Victor Marchand- fifth in the 800; Derrick Leese- fifth in the shot put; Josh Rader- fifth in the 3200, and sixth in the 1600; McKinley Portice- sixth in the shot put.
The Panthers' 1600- and 3200- meter relay teams took second and its 400- and 800-meter relay teams placed third.
Engadine: Grayson Hood- first in the 100 (11.67), high hurdles (16.36), and low hurdles (42.43); John Troyer- first in the shot put (135'8.5"); Daron Emery- second in the 3200, fourth in the 1600; Phillip Hood- second long jump, third in the 400; Stefan Albrightthird in the long jump, fifth in the 100; Chris Keller- fourth in the long jump. The Eagles 400-meter relay team finished first (48.07), while its 800- and 1600-meter relay team took second.
Brimley: Harlan Chartrandfirst in the 400 (53.53), third in the 200; Ryan Freedman-first in the 200 (24.27); T.J. McBride- second in the pole vault; Ken Schwiderson- fifth in the long jump.
The Bays' 800-meter relay finished second, while its 1600 team took third, and its 400-meter relay team finished fourth.
DeTour: Teryn Miller- first in the 3200 (11:27.42), third in the high jump, fifth in the 1600; Max Peterson- fifth in the high jump; Harry Reinfelder- sixth in the discus.
Mackinac Island: Woody Beardsley- second in discus; Robert Chambers-third in the 100, fourth in the long jump and 200; Jesse Straight- finished fifth in the 400.
Girls Results:
Pickford recorded 120 points for first place, followed by Cedarville with 79, Brimley 61, Engadine 60, DeTour 19, Mackinac Island 17.

The Panthers' relay teams took first in the 800- (1:57.05), 400- (55.63), 1600-meter relay (4:31.27), and third in the 3200.

The Bays' 800-meter relay team finished second while its 400- and 1600-meter relay teams finished fourth.
Engadine: Elicia Derusha- first in the 800 (2:34.53), and 1600 (5:57.66), third in the long jump; Lauren MacArthur- first in the long jump (14'9"), third in the high jump, fifth in the high hurdles; Shannon Browning- second in the 100, third in the 400; Shauni Rutledge- second in the shot put, fourth in discus; Kayla Miller- fourth in the 1600; Brenda Albrecht- fourth in the 400; Samantha Dunne- fifth in the high jump.
The Eagles' relay teams took first in the 3200 (10:53.95), and fifth in the 400 and 800.
DeTour: Nicole Melcer- second in the high jump, fourth in the low hurdles; Liz Lehman- fourth in the high hurdles, fifth in the low hurdles; Danielle Weinan- fifth in the 100.
The Raiders relay teams finished third in the 400, and fourth in the 800.
Mackinac Island: Michi Mullings- third in the 100, fourth in the 200, fourth in the long jump; Shay Mosley- fourth in the 100; Morgan Brodeur-Bunker- fifth in the 1600.
