1,100 Registered for Zoo-De-Mackinac

The 18th annual Zoo-De- Mackinac Bike Bash will bring 2,000 bicycle riders to the Straits of Mackinac Saturday, May 19, with many ending their social ride on Mackinac Island. The cyclists will make their way from Boyne Highlands in Harbor Springs along Lake Michigan on US-119.

Zoo-De-Mack coordinator Greg Drawbaugh reported that, as of April 29, 1,100 people were registered for the popular event, an increase of 175 riders from the same day last year. In 2006, 2,100 people participated.
