Mark, Cathie Sposito Named Ambassadors of the Year

      Mark and Cathie Sposito have been named St. Ignace Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors of the Year for their work on the Visitors Bureau special events committee. The award was presented during the annual banquet Thursday, May 17, at Little Bear East Community Center.

300-Mile EUP Trek May Be Toughest Yet

      Thirty-six four-person teams will backpack more than 300 miles for four consecutive days, trekking along forest trails, bicycling, canoeing, rappelling from cliffs, and exploring caves in a timed race to take place in St. Ignace from Sunday, May 27, to Saturday, June 2.
