Rexton-Garnet
By Linda Livermore 595-7283

The rain may have dampened the evening, but not the spirit of Prom 2007. The event, with Engadine's young men and ladies dressed to the nines, was a memory maker.

With all of the clean-up volunteers scouring the back woods for debris last weekend, coordinator Art Mills was kept busy taking all the trash to the waste disposal site. Many participated in cleaning up the areas around our tiny towns.

The hard work is evident as well at Maplewood Cemetery, which is being made ready for Memorial Day.

Continued get well wishes to Tim Darknell, who has returned to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with regards to his back problems.

Birthday wishes to Amanda Paquin May 21, my sister, Diana Davis, and a great radio voice, Travis Weger, along with neighbor Elaine Browning and Kyle Spencer, all celebrating May 22, Andrew Becker May 24, two great ladies, Pauline Peters and Gladys Bumpas, celebrating May 25, Nathan Zimmerman May 26, and to our family's favorite redhead, our grandson, Charlie Fosdick, who is celebrating number seven May 27.
