Workshop Offered for Home Buyers

Potential home buyers are invited to attend a pre-purchase workshop Thursday, May 24, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the St. Ignace Public Library.

The workshop, sponsored by HOME of Mackinac County and MSU Extension, will inform buyers on the following topics: assessing readiness to purchase a home; working with a real estate professional; home inspection and the purchase agreement process; financing a home; the closing process; budgeting and credit as they relate to home ownership, and basic home and financial maintenance.
