Area UAWRetirees Are Invited to Monthly Meetings at Hulbert

All United Auto Workers (UAW) retirees in the Eastern Upper Peninsula may attend monthly meetings at the American Legion Hall in Hulbert, where programs are presented that are of interest to retirees. An insurance company representative is available at most meetings to assist retirees with questions.

The next meeting will be Thursday, May 24, at 1 p.m. The group meets on the Thursday following the third Monday of each month from April through December. A luncheon is always provided and any UAW retirees living in the area are welcome.

A drop-in center is also available to address retirees' questions about benefits at Chippewa Township Hall on M-28 in Eckerman. Hours for the center are Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., all year around. The center can be reached at (906) 274-5326.

Retirees may take advantage of either or both of these UAW-paid benefits.
