Kristi Kamphuis Is Valedictorian at Mackinac Island High School
Two To Earn Diplomas in Island Class of 2007

Kristi Kamphuis is valedictorian for the Class of 2007 at Mackinac Island High School.
The daughter of Dr. Don and Karen Weesing, she has achieved a 3.5 grade point average (GPA) in high school. She participated in volleyball and yearbook. She received the Northern Lights League Academic Scholar and has been on the honor roll throughout high school.
Miss Kamphuis plans to attend Grand Valley University and major in business. She then hopes to own a beauty shop.
One other student, Scott Roguska, will be graduated in the Class of 2007 at the Mackinac Island school district, which has an enrollment of 70 students.
Graduation will be Friday, May 25, at 7 p.m. at the school on Mackinac Island.
