Kerridge Is Valedictorian, Peters Salutatorian at Engadine High

Katie Kerridge has been selected valedictorian and Lara Peters salutatorian of the Class of 2007 at Engadine High School.
Miss Kerridge, the daughter of Larry and Barbara Kerridge, earned top ranking in the class by maintaining a 4.03 grade point average through high school. She received the Academic Achievement Award, Eastern Upper Peninsula Principal's Award, Leadership Award, Citizenship Award, and Michigan Promise Award. In addition, she has participated in volleyball, Quiz Bowl, yearbook, and was class president for two years.
She will attend Ferris State University, where she plans to major in diagnostic medical sonography.
Miss Peters, the daughter of Saundra and Larry Peters, maintained a 3.85 grade point average in high school and was recognized for outstanding achievement in English and mathematics. She has been on the honor roll for four years and received the Academic Achievement Award and the Michigan Promise Award.
She participated in volleyball, Quiz Bowl, was class treasurer, and received an achievement award in chain saw safety.

She will enter the pre-nursing program at Ferris State University.
Graduation will be Friday, June 8, at 8 p.m.
