      A son, Corvin John Davis, was born to Shelley and Tyler Davis of Royal Oak May 10, 2007, at William Beaumont Hospital. He weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces, and measured 21.5 inches in length. Grandparents are Mary Sue and David Kunze of St. Ignace and Kathy and Ron Davis of Massillon, Ohio.

      Lieutenant Commander Vince W. Baker took over command of the USS Warrior in a Change of Command Ceremony February 14, 2007, at Naval Station Ingleside in Ingleside, Texas. LTC Baker was graduated from Mackinaw City High School in 1982.
