Students Aid Fulgenzi Family

A fundraiser for the Fulgenzi family, who lost their home and belongings to fire May 18, was completed by students at St. Ignace Area Schools Friday, June 1. Elementary and middle school students began collecting household items Wednesday, May 23, said third-grade teacher Amy Metz, who has taught two of the family's four children and organized the project.

No one was hurt in the fire, which was started accidentally.
