Kangas, Flatt Earn Award at Engadine

Kierra Kangas, a sixth grade student at Engadine Consolidated Schools, scored in the top 10 of 600 students tested in English Language Arts in the Eastern Upper Peninsula Intermediate School District (EUPISD) in October. Tanner Flatt, a fifth grade student, scored in the top 10 of 530 EUPISD students tested in mathematics and science. Engadine school board president Lester Livermore congratulated both students and presented them with certificates of achievement from the intermediate school district.
