Mackinaw City Will Host Big Mac Spring Bike Tour June 9-10

The 15th annual Big Mac Shoreline Spring Scenic Bike Tour will take place Saturday, June 9, and Sunday, June 10, hosted by the Mackinaw City Chamber of Commerce.

Riders may choose one of four routes of 25, 50, 75, or 100 miles along the shore of Lake Michigan; all are clearly marked, with a number of rest areas dotting the course. Safety wagons will circle the route to ensure safety for riders.

The Saturday tour begins and ends at the Mackinaw City High School. Participants depart between 7 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., depending on route taken.

A registration fee of $23 includes the tour and a hot dog roast from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Riders may complete the weekend with a tour across the Mackinac Bridge. This ride begins 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning, with a fee of $12, and is open to the first 400 riders who have participated in the Saturday tour. Some rules apply.
