U.P Authors To Speak at DeTour Library Saturday

Karl Bohnak and Elizabeth Yelland will speak at the DeTour Public Library Saturday, June 23, at 11 a.m. Their book, "So Cold a Sky, Upper Michigan Weather Stories," is on the 2007 Michigan Notable Books List.

Mr. Bohnak, the author of the book, is a career weather forecaster in Marquette, while his wife, Elizabeth Yelland, illustrated the book.

The book includes a history of Upper Peninsula weather experienced by historical figures, as well as modern day weather events.

The Friends of the Library will serve refreshments after the presentation. Signed books will be available for purchase.
