Pickford Names Students of the Month for March - June

Kaylynn Portice, Pat Savoie, Tiffany McCord, and Jessica Hammons were named Students of the Month at Pickford High School in March.
Kaylynn Portice, 17, is a senior who lists senior mathematics and advanced placement English as her favorite subjects, and enjoys horseback riding and playing piano. She has participated in Noah's Ark 4-H Club, FCCLA, cross country, track, Quiz Bowl, and National Honor Society. She has a part-time job at Maples Sawmill.
Miss Portice plans to attend Aquinas College in Grand Rapids to study community leadership and political science. The daughter of Cal and Sharon Portice, she has one sibling, McKinley.
Pat Savoie, 17, is a basketball, track, and cross country athlete and an 11th grade student at the school. He lists building trades as his favorite subject and enjoys snowmobiling, woodworking, and basketball. He is a member of National Honor Society. He has a part-time job at the Pickford Co-op.

The son of Ron and Jackie Savoie, he said he admires his sister, Stepahanie, for all of her achievements.
Tiffany McCord, 16, lists science as her favorite subject and horseback riding as her favorite activity. A sophomore student, she participated in Noah's Ark 4-H Club, FCCLA, student council, Science Olympiad, and Quiz Bowl.
The daughter of Mike and RoxAnn McCord, she has one sibling, Alyssa, and plans to attend college.
Jessica Hammons, 14, is a freshman who lists history, art, and science as her favorite subjects. She enjoys painting, drawing, horseback riding, raising animals, and graphic design. She has a part-time job helping her father with his design business.
The daughter of James and Amy Hammons, she has three siblings, James, Sharon, and Donna, and hopes one day to be an interior designer.
Renae Reich, Veronica Morrison, Tyler Bosley, Amanda Felty have been named Students of the Month at Pickford High School for the months of April and May.
Renae Reich, 18, is a senior who lists advanced placement English as her favorite subject and particularly likes camping and going to the beach. She has participated in basketball, volleyball, track, softball, yearbook, Student Council, and National Honor Society in addition to holding a part-time job at Cedarville Inn.
The daughter of Carl and Lori Reich, she has three siblings, Rachel, Travis, Kurtis. She plans to attend Alma College and major in elementary education.
Veronica Morrison, 17, is a basketball, volleyball, and track athlete and an 11th grade student at the school. She lists writing, speech, and biology as her favorite subjects and enjoys sports.
The daughter of David and Rosalie Morrison, she has six siblings, Lindsey, Neal, Nathan, Gabi, Rachel, and Jonathan. She aspires to be an obstetrics nurse.
Tyler Bosley, 16, enjoys English and biology classes and playing bass guitar. He lists learning to play the Star Spangled Banner on the bass as his proudest achievement.
The son of Bob and Yvonne Bolsey, he has one brother, Christopher. His plans are to be a Navy corpsman.
Amanda Felty, 14, is a freshman who lists physical science as her favorite subject, and enjoys horseback riding. She has participated in FCCLA, basketball, track, volleyball, and band.
The daughter of Angel Portice and Tom Portice, she has three siblings, Briana, Jocelyn, and Brooke Portice. Her goal is to become a veterinarian.
