Joann Fletcher Joann Elizabeth Fletcher of Sault Ste. Marie had worked in the Essex and Balimoy assembly plants in Sault Ste. Marie, and also as a child caregiver and housekeeper. Ms. Fletcher died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at her home, at age 62. She was born October 12, 1944, in Rosedale, to Frank and Bryl (nee Andrews) Fletcher. A lifelong area resident, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoyed reading and fishing, and spending time with her dog, Tiny. Ms. Fletcher is survived by her mother, Bryl Fletcher of Sault Ste. Marie; her sister and her family, Glenda and Samuel Logsdon of Sault Ste. Marie; her longtime friend, Mary Sue Stirling of Sault Ste. Marie; two nephews and their families, Daniel and Marie Logsdon and Frank Logsdon; a grand-nephew, Lucas Logsdon; two grand-nieces, Katy and Kennedy Logsdon; six aunts and their families, Ann and Douglas Lessard, Bertha and David Smith, Margaret and Gerald Garland, Lilly and Donald Bowerman, Mildred Storey, and Sadie McGuire; an uncle and his family, Gordon and Olivine Andrews, and many extended friends and family members from the Pickford area. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Fletcher. A private funeral will be held and burial will be in Donaldson Cemetery in Bruce Township. Reamer Galer Funeral Home of Pickford assisted the family with arrangements. |
