Brown Cards 78-75 During Q-Rounds at Michigan Open

Joe Brown of St. Ignace carded 78-75 (153) during his two 18- hole qualifying rounds at the Michigan Open at the Grand Traverse Resort in Traverse City Monday, June 11, and Tuesday, June 12.

Brown did not advance to the second and third days of the tourney.

"He had some good shots and bad, but, overall, played okay in his first-ever Michigan Open," said his father, Ben Brown, who is also his caddie.
