Sault Tribe Announces Powwow Schedule

The Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians has announced this year's slate of powwows scheduled throughout the tribe's seven-county service area. The following events are scheduled:

The 26th Annual Summer Gathering and Powwow in Sault Ste. Marie will be Thursday, July 5, through Sunday, July 8 at Sault Tribe powwow grounds off Shunk Road in Sault Ste. Marie.

The 15th Gathering of the Eagles Traditional Powwow at Three Mile Road in Hessel will be Friday, August 17, through Sunday, August 19.

The St. Ignace Rendezvous at the Straits Powwow will be Saturday, August 25, and Sunday, August 26.
