Pickford Hay Days Volunteers To Meet

Pickford Hay Days will be Wednesday, August 15, with a theme of "Pickin' and Grinnin' in Pickford." All those who play guitars, fiddles, banjos, mandolins, accordions, harmonicas, and similar instruments are invited to spend a weekend jamming in Pickford.

Volunteers are needed to help staff Hay Days events. All those interested are asked to attend a planning meeting Monday, July 2, at 7:30 p.m. at Dr. Richard Morrison's office.

The schedule of events will be nearly identical to past Hay Days festivals, including the Friday evening kids parade, Hay Bale events, and program. The street dance will feature music by Ted O'Brien. Saturday will include 10k, 5k, 2k runs, the Hay Days parade in the morning, followed by the lawn tractor pull, horse pull, and games at the park in the afternoon.
