Barbara Paulitch Barbara Paulitch, 73, of St. Ignace died Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at Mackinac Straits Hospital Long Term Care facility, where she had lived for seven years. Mrs. Paulitch was born in Detroit August 12, 1933, to Alfred and Ethel (nee Thorpe) Long. She married Frank "Al" Paulitch September 18, 1957, in Indiana. They lived in the Ecorse and Detroit areas for many years, moving to Moran in 1987. She worked for American Sunroof in Southgate and for several years at Detroit Diesel. She attended the Ozark Grace Brethren Church while living in Moran, and the Straits Evangelical Free Church in St. Ignace. She is survived by two sons and their families, Mark and Cheri Paulitch of Ecorse and Aaron Paulitch of Moran; three daughters and their families, Cindy and Ron Pongracz of Rexton, Deborah Kazmer of Lincoln Park, and Jenna Eggebracht, of Moran; three sisters and their families, Eileen and Lloyd Henderson of Florida, Karen and Chuck Brimmer of Harrison, and Joan Edmonds of St. Ignace; 10 grandchildren and their families, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two grandchildren, Tammy Schlehuber and Kelly Lynn Paulitch. A service will be held at a later date in St. Ignace. Dodson Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. |
