Ontario Trio Wins 23rd Annual Pickford Scramble

The Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, trio of Blanch Aho, Trudy Derasario, and Mary Lundchild captured the 23rd annual Munoscong Three-Women Golf Scramble championship after carding n 18-hole score of 69 Monday, June 18.

Finishing second in the championship flight were Candace Linklater, Ester Muncaster, and Mary Wallace with 70. Third place went to Helen Godson, Barb Matthews, and Barbara Terry with 71, and Sandy Krause, Cindy Brown, and Janet Brown took fourth with 72.

Teams competing in the tournament hailed from Pickford, St. Ignace, Rudyard, Drummond Island, Cheboygan, Onaway, Stephenson, Goetzville, Fibre, Florida, Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
