Munoscong Golf Club Weekly Results

Ladies Day Amanda Ross carded a low gross score of 48 and Paulette Belair scored a low net score of 38 to win the first flight of the Munoscong Ladies Day Golf League Wednesday, June 20.

Gloria Smith recorded low gross score of 59 and Sonja Clegg 44 for low net in the second flight, while Carol Evans scored a low gross score of 57 and Rosemary Pinnell scored a 39 for low net in the third flight. Judy Hamilton's score of 66 and Jan Moore's score of 42 was the low gross score for low net in the fourth flight.

Special events: Evalyn Jacobson registered low putts with 14; Judy Hamilton won the shortest drive on number five; Rosemary Pinnell, Phyllis Baxter, and Amanda Ross won pars on No. 9; and Amanda Ross won the low score of the day.

Mixed Doubles League

The team of John Wilkie and Chelsey O'Connor and Denny Smith and Cindy Harrison carded 32 with 15 putts for first place in the Munoscong Mixed Doubles Golf League Friday, June 22.

The foursome of Erv Belonga and Arlene Portice and Connie Bouffard and Donna Ellis took second place with nine hole score of 34 and 11 putts.

Special events: The group of Arvid and Theora Hamilton and Mike and Penny Poluk recorded the highest score on a par three with seven; Phyllis Baxter made the longest putt on No. 12; John Wilkie won closest to the pin with the third shot on No. 14; Roy Hamilton won closest to the pin with tee shot on No. 16; and Chelsey O'Connor chipped in for an eagle (two under par) on No. 17.
