I was given a wonderful opportunity last week to attend the luncheon given to present awards to those who had winning cars in the 32nd Annual St. Ignace Car Show.
This year the show honored Doc Watson, who created an automotive sensation in the 1960s with a specialized Oldsmobile based on a Cutlass body.
I've heard the saying, "The bigger they are, the harder they fall," however, I've found out that the truth is, "The bigger they are, the nicer they are." I've certainly met some wonderful people associated with the show, starting with Ed Reavie and those attending the show, and I've made many good friends.
Last year the honored celebrities were Anson Williams, Donny Most, and Cindy Williams from "Happy Days," who were also most enjoyable to meet.
