Hospital Board Member Resigns

Peter Della-Moretta of St. Ignace resigned from the Mackinac Straits Hospital and Health Center Board of Trustees, which was announced at a board meeting Monday, June 18.

Mr. Della-Moretta, who served as the treasurer, recently moved away from the area. He has been a board member for 18 years, serving his first three year term in 1989.

The board will appoint a replacement.

Other board members are Chairman Ron Mitchell of St. Ignace, Vice Chairman Richard Smith of Naubinway, Secretary Kathy Lawnichak of St. Ignace, Walter North of St. Ignace, Patricia Serwach of St. Ignace, James Farero of Cedarville, Al Feliksa of St. Ignace, Donald McArthur of Gould City, Fred Paquin of St. Ignace, and Margaret Doud of Mackinac Island.
