Wytiaz Named to DRLPS Board Sandy Wytiaz will fill the director's position on the board of the DeTour Reef Light Preservation Society (DRLPS), the society decided at its May meeting. The post was left vacant by the death of Jim Charles, a founding director of DRLPS in 1998. He was also vice president and memorabilia chairperson. A native of upstate New York, Mrs. Wytiaz has lived in DeTour Village for the past 10 years with her husband, Bob. She is the owner of Complete Business Designs, and has been a licensed insurance agent for the past 17 years. The DRLPS has worked since 1998 to restore and preserve the historic DeTour Reef Light one mile offshore in northern Lake Huron at the far eastern end of Michigan's Upper Peninsula between DeTour Village and Drummond Island. |
