Jennifer Theresa Betcher and Andrew Michael Chubb of Saginaw were united in marriage June 9, 2007, at 4 p.m. The father of the groom, the Reverend Jeffrey Chubb, performed the service at Founder's Hall on Saginaw Valley State University Campus.

The bride is the daughter of Walter and JoAnn Betcher of Trout Lake.

The groom's parents are the Reverend Jeffrey and Jane Chubb of Morris, Illinois.

Mrs. Chubb provided the music. Michelle Betcher greeted guests as they arrived. The bride's father, Walter Betcher gave her in marriage.

Matron of honor was Lori Criger. Bridesmaids were Nancy Bays and Tammie Tassier. Amberlee and Lucy Damon were the flower girls.

The groom's brother, David Chubb, was the best man. Groomsmen were Michael Dosmann and Conrad Stoldt. The bride's brothers, Daniel and Joseph Betcher, served as ushers. Robert Malaski Jr. was the ring bearer.

The bride's gown, fashioned by the bride, was made of white Dutchess satin, with a fitted bodice with lace appliqué and beading. The back extended into a train. She carried a bouquet of white roses, lavender lisianthus, and lavender freesia.

The bridesmaids wore lavender satin two-piece gowns with halter tops and sweep train inserts. The flower girls wore lavender satin dresses with back overskirts. The bridesmaids bouquets were similar to the bride's, with the flower girls carrying miniature bouquets.

The reception was held at the Horizon Center in Saginaw. As the bride and groom were presented at the reception, the White Pine Pipes and Drums played "Scotland the Brave."

The bride is a mathematics lecturer at Saginaw Valley State University. The groom is a chemistry professor at the university.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Hawaii and now reside in Midland.
