Golf League Scores Reported

Ladies League

Angela Cowell carded 44 for low gross and Amanda Ross and Bev Vandergeest shared low net honors with 38 in the first flight during the Ladies Day Golf League Wednesday, June 27.

Beth Quinnell recorded 41 for low gross and Gloria Smith 35 for low net in the second flight, Rosemary Pinnell registered 54 for low gross and Gloria Christensen 33 for low net in the third flight, and Gladys Baxter charted 63 for low gross and Jan Moore 40 for low net in the fourth flight.

Special Events

Angela Cowell recorded low putts with 12 and the longest second shot on number 10, Beth Quinnell had the longest putt on number 14, and Ione Barber, Joyce Alley, and Gladys Baxter tied for the most sixes.

Mixed Doubles

The foursome of John Manning and Sharon Parr and John Wilkie and Chelsey O'Connor carded a score of 33 and 12 putts to finish first in the Mixed Doubles Golf League Friday, June 29.

The teams of Connie and Janet Bouffard, Sonja Clegg and Gary Klop, Denny Smith and Cindy Harrison, and Dan and Tracy Rye recorded 35 with 11 putts for second place.

Special Events

Arlene Portice made the longest putt on number one. Denny Smith was closest to the pin with second shot on number six, and closest to the pin with tee shot on number nine, and John Wilkie was closest to the pin with third shot on number seven.

Senior League

John Head carded 38 for low gross and Roy Hamilton and Bob McLean shared low putt honors with 12 during the Seniors Golf League Thursday, June 28.

Special Events

Harry Knight recorded longest putt on number 18, Sonny Veit was closest to the pin with second shot on number 13, and closest to the pin with tee shot on number 11, and Bill Johnson won the door prize.
